Keratin Treatment After-Care Tips

HAIR TIPS #1

DON'T Use A Shampoo With Sulfates

What happens if you use sulfate shampoo after keratin treatment?

A surefire way to shorten the lifespan of an in-salon keratin treatment is to suds up with sulfates, which are cleansing agents that may strip the keratin right out of your hair.

For lasting results, post-treatment shampoo should be free of sulfates.

All Beerskin family products are free from sulfates, parabens, and silicones 🌿

HAIR TIPS #2

Let It Down!

The first three days are extremely important for the treatment. During this time, people should avoid putting their hair in a ponytail. Braids and hair clips are also forbidden.

HAIR TIPS #3

Do Not Use Cotton

On its own, cotton is harmless but it creates friction. After a keratin treatment, the friction could be highly damaging. The recommendation is to change the pillowcase. Choose a material like silk. Avoid any derivate of cotton.

HAIR TIPS #4

Do Not Use More Products to Your Hair

Applying extra products makes the keratin less effective.

ADVICE:

Those that do not wish to apply an entire treatment should consider other options.

Vitamin H is highly beneficial for the hair. It improves the natural keratin in our heads.

By the way, our Repair & Volume product line contains keratin, as one of the super repair ingredients.

Try it and you will love it, I promise,

Big hug,

Ms. Beerskin
